This Nationally Accredited Skill Set addresses the set of skills required to equip individuals for work in food handling to ensure food safety.


This training applies to food handling personnel working in tourism, hospitality and catering organisations with permanent or temporary kitchen premises, and smaller food preparation or bar areas.

This course will develop a range of skills required for roles in the following areas:

  • Café/Bar Worker
  • Kitchen Staff
