A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is a company that is registered to deliver nationally recognised qualifications. RTO’s have to meet criteria defined in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and are audited against the criteria regularly.
A Training Package is a set of nationally endorsed competency standards, qualifications and assessment guidelines for a specific industry, industry sector or enterprise: When you obtain a qualification from a training package, the qualification is recognised around Australia.

A nationally recognised qualification is recognised in all states and territories. They are identified by the ‘Nationally Recognised Training’ logo.
Mixed mode delivery simply means that you undertake learning via a combination of delivery methods. This might include classroom based training, mixed with self paced learning, computer based learning, on job learning, tutorials, research, workbooks or similar.
Yes. Providing you achieve competency, you will be awarded a qualification plus an academic transcript which lists all of the units you have completed and the result.
We measure your results in terms of competent or not yet competent. There is no pass or fail. You are either competent (ie you have the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to perform a task or function) or you are not yet competent (ie. Further training is required).
Competency means that you have the appropriate combination of skills, knowledge and attitudes required to undertake a particular task or function.

This is a small assessment for potential students to test Language, Literacy and Numeracy. The purpose of this tool is to check your readiness for study. They cover aspects of reading, writing, oral communication, learning and numeracy.
Simply visit our website and press the “Apply Now” button for the course you would like to enrol into. This will provide you with the application form where you complete your details and upload Identification and any other required documents. Once you submit this, a member of our team will contact you to discuss the course requirements with you and find out a bit more about your goals and objectives. You will also be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment. Once all of this has been completed, we will begin the enrolment process and assess your eligibility for any Government funding. We will notify you of your acceptance into the course as well as your student fee. The equipment needed would depend on the qualification you are completing. As a basis, you would need a reliable computer, laptop or smart device (such as iPad, tablet or smart phone) as well as an internet connection. Specific qualifications may require you to have certain software programs or peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse. Yes. Acacia offer flexible payment plans to suit a variety of needs. Contact head office to discuss what payment options are available for you.
Yes. If you are not able to complete your course on time, have a chat with your trainer or contact head office to arrange an extension on your course date. A fee may apply depending on individual circumstances.

Employment Advisor Questions
Have you checked you junk folder? Occassionally the email may land in there.
If you require a Verification of Enrolment to be completed, please email the document to [email protected] and they will be passed to the appropriate person for completion. The form will then be emailed directly back to you.
You will receive a Course Acceptance Letter via email stating that your client has been accepted into the course. This letter will also state any applicable fees that your client has incurred. If your client is not suitable for the course, we will contact you either via phone or email to notify you of this.
